IT'S FLOWER FRIDAY
Yet again...flowers are scarce around here this time of year. The sun is shining but it's bloody cold out there and any decent flower is still underground biding its time. Thus a BackBlip from last August at Road America, America's National Park of Speed....photographers must amuse themselves between races, right?

This is Helianthus sp.......the common, wild sunflower. Common in disturbed areas, this beauty lies on the back side of the track along an access road recently cut to allow fan access to the Carousel...one of the Track's more famous turns.
