Nature Diary..A beautiful day

Today has been an astonishingly beautiful day, a very welcome change from the endless weeks of pouring rain and vicious north winds.
It was lovely to see the Rooks starting to gather again in Big Tree on the cliff overlooking the sea, where they have gathered  for many decades. Just a small gathering today but delightful to see and to look forward to seeing many more of them meeting up again as the weather improves.
