Windy day on the Hoe

Good Friday and we sang twice. Once from twelve till one with the congregation singing three of the songs and the choir had one to sing to them! Inbetween we had talks and silence for reflection. After the service I walked home across the Hoe and as I was walking up to the Hoe I noticed the flags stretched out by the wind with the blue sky behind. There were a few showers through the day! Stopped for tea cake and tea at Cafe by the Park.

Got home and took the washing out of the machine and hung it on the rack. Then cooked a couple of boiled eggs having dropped one on the floor, a terrible waste!

Then it was bus back to town for a final rehearsal for our evening contribution to Good Friday. We sang and read the story of the crucifixion of Christ! The ultimate act of love for mankind. Looking forward to the Easter celebrations on Sunday!
