The best parts...

...of Good Friday: finishing the jigsaw I gave Dad last year, Chocolate Hot Cross Buns, and endless medicinal chocolates to counteract the rest of the day that has been very difficult.

Had to call out engineer for problem with central heating. Had to call out District Nurse as Dad’s dressing had come loose overnight. As a result had to cancel this afternoon’s visit from a family friend for a cuppa and hot cross buns. And just as well I did as DN didn’t turn up until mid afternoon, and shortly after she left the patient became very anxious about tightness of bandage and ripped it all off! Now waiting for DN to return to redo bandage etc. Sigh...

UPDATE: DN arrived 8.45pm. Peace has been restored, for now...
