Until It All Went Horribly Wrong

I was off work today and after an early swim at the local sports centre, I met my friend Ali for lunch in Market Weighton. It was lovely to catch up as it’s been a while, mainly due to Ali recently finishing her PhD and getting her doctorate at the age of 60, which is an impressive achievement at any age.

I headed up to sort Jack before heading to Hoopers with Dylan. It was a lovely evening, until it all went horribly wrong as one of the horses that was loose in the arena kicked out and killed the yard owners cat…it was so awful and understandably everyone was very upset. I was quite shaken by the time I got Dylan to Hoopers and was very glad of the distraction.
