Maldon

After a quick woofer walk, Nancy and I went to Maldon. We both taught there in the 1980's so it was a bit of a memory lane trip. Cold damp wind prevented much wandering but we walked the High St and had lunch before going to the Hythe Quay (info here) where the heavens opened almost as soon as we parked.  I did get one pic of the magnificent Thames Barges before getting back in the car. Awful weather. 

Our evening included of a leisurely meal at the Fox and Raven, and then Star Trek (2009) with a drink or two.
