Storm Nelson

It was a beautiful day when we left London for the coast but that did not last long as the rain arrived and a really unpleasant journey for us.  We arrived in Deal to no rain at all.  Later the  winds came with gusts of up to 70 mph, l crossed the road to take this photo and thought l might be blown over.
The storm has been named Nelson by the Spanish weather authorities.  It's a complex system for naming storms, they are named by the area in which they originate, usually in alphabetical order.
