Llanarmon Yew

Today's the day ........................... to live for ever

If you go to the small village of Llanarmon which nestles at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains where the River Ceiriog runs down from the hills, to the fertile valley floor - make sure that you visit St Garmon's Churchyard.

There are two yew trees there - one male and one female - thought to be over 1000 years old. There is a widely held belief that yew trees are capable of lasting forever ................
