Wow!!

After turning in early last night I was up for breakfast at a reasonable time, thoroughly enjoyed it. I sat on the settee with my coffee and the newspaper and then woke up at 3:40pm, I’d slept virtually the whole day. I felt better but still felt like another early night.
Spending the entire day inside the house doesn’t give you much scope for a photograph.

This is our entrance hall, quite a collection of hats, coats and scarves, it’s lit by our Christmas Star of a few years ago which we liked so much we left it out. But the thumbnail of today’s photo is of a plate my Mum & Dad bought around fifty years ago. My Mum wanted it because she thought it looked like me. I received it from them shortly after Mrs S and I married and it’s hung there pretty much ever since, it makes me smile as I pass it going up or down the stairs.
