What a difference a day makes

The sun finally made an appearance. So, Joe and I headed to the seaside at North Berwick before it disappeared again. Obviously, we went via the recycling centre with a car full of cardboard by way of penance.

More beach action this evening as I dropped him at his football match. I took a walk along the promenade. Still light at 7pm and there was plenty of joggers, lots of al-fresco eaters and even folk lighting bonfires on the beach. I retired indoors for a splendid fish and chips while reading my book. Then, it was time to drive the young fella home again.
