Bird Poop Mountain
We picked up the kids early and headed off to the Museum Of Flight to allow their parents to get a load of packing done (without the toys be emptied out again as fast as they are put away).
It was a bit windy - but dry which is just as well as we were there for hours.
I am really glad that it was such a success with the Cygnet.
Although he was able to play at pilots in one and get inside others, it was the bit white one where the lights were on but nobody was home that really impressed him. and he insisted on going on and having a good rummage around twice.
He was so intent on all the knobs, dials and buttons that he managed to walk into the Perspex screen put up to stop little fingers from playing with them.
It is surprising how low to the ground jets used to be ............ if the Cygnet can reach it - it must be low.
After leaving the Museum we headed into North Berwick for an ice-cream.
Although the clouds came in it was the Cygnet tripping over a manhole and going his length, banging his head that set the finishing time on the day and had us heading for home.
Both the kids had a great day and there was no tantrums or tears (apart from after the fall) - they were both a joy to be with all day and they were dropped off at home very, very tired.
They are not the only ones!!
