A journey through the seasons

On our way to Aberdovey, we had brilliant sunshine, rain, sleet and hail, with snow on the hills. We arrived in Aberdovey to glorious sunshine so thought we would go for a beach walk. Wrong decision. We had walked for about 30 mins and it started to rain, then hail, then sleet!! You know it’s bad when it goes through your heavy padded jacket, thé gilet you are wearing underneath and your jumper. By the time we got back to the car, we were utterly exhausted battling the cold sleet on our faces. I wrapped Laika in her bag, put the heating on and sat for a while to thaw out. ….and then the sun came out.
