Giant dandelion clock

What a beautiful day. Samuel went out for his first run this morning. We managed 1.75 miles without stopping, which I think is pretty good for a first effort. Later we still had the energy for a 'nature walk'. Besides our best efforts, we didn't really see too much nature (we saw a chaffinch), but it was a very pleasant outing non-the-less. We found these large dandelion 'clocks' on the way back to the car.

The blue luminance was reduced to bring out the blue in the sky.
