Escaping…….

To somewhere hot and sunny.

The destination…. Doha.
Seen this morning while on a morning training run. Unfortunately, I couldn’t reach high enough to get over the security fence, but strangely, I almost appreciate the effect of escaping.

I did think about my mum and dad making the most of their retirement, jetting off to sunny climes before my mum passed last year. So much of a holiday lover, I do hope my dad manages to get himself away somewhere nice this year.
And for those who are interested, a steady seven miles, which took me from my home, right round the airport and back. Well, almost as I called into a nearby supermarket to get something nice for breakfast.
And that sunshine, well that didn’t last either as rain took over while I was driving to work later today. Maybe I should have boarded that plane after all
