St Mary's
With the weather pretty miserable, after a coffee at a neigbours house, I set off early afternoon to Deerhurst, Gloucestershire (UK) to have a look at the two saxon churches in the village. The photo' is of St Mary's Church (8th century) The extra shows the 9th century Saxon font which is carved from a single peice of sandstone and is said to be the finest surviving Saxon font anywhere!
It's Maundy Thursday today, and the start of Easter. Have a good weekend!
