Demolition

Just up the road from us, the council have demolished a sheltered housing complex. 30 flats and 15 bungalows. My wife worked there for 30 years as a carer. So many social events there over the years. Christmas dinners, fish and chip nights, bingo and barbecues. All the residents moved out before the demolition men moved in, you will be relieved to hear. It’s been very sad seeing it gradually getting smashed to pieces. It’s a huge development with hundreds of flats taking the place of Hobbs Court.
