Beyond me

Why do some people go to all the trouble of separating their rubbish for recycling, then whenthey get to the bin and discover it's full they just dump the bag on the pavement...even although there's an empty bin next to it. It's very odd.

And why do boys want to drive cars that make a hideous noise.

And why would someone want to walk up South Clerk Street barefoot. Is he showing us just how eccentric and unconventional he is. With all the sort of stuff that he could come across on this street , I think he's just a fool.
