My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Day 2 at Caro's new job was an equal success to her first. She is really enjoying it.

But she's also getting to know the other staff really well. They seem to appreciate her and are treating her really nicely. I am SO pleased and so proud of her!

And then there's Alfie the Funeral Home Doggie. What a goo' boy! YES HE IS YES HE IS.

People (and doggies) make all the difference. 

My day was brightened by Briar in the office. She and I went to get a present for Corrie at lunchtime and had fun and larfs along the way. It's been a while since I've seen her and I realised how much I've missed her. 

I gave her a Lindt bunny for Easter. 

She went hypersonic. It was totally worth it. 

And then on the train home, "Get Out Your Lazy Bed" by 80's band Matt Bianco came on my Spotify playlist. I remember the time they were on Saturday Superstore with Mike Read and someone called in to say, "Matt Bianco? You're a bunch of w&nkers."

I wondered if anyone else remembered this and found you can buy t-shirts. 

There are many reasons to be happy today but I'm going to say the Matt Bianco t-shirt cracked the top five.
