Four go mad in yes, Madchester

Out of Waverley on the 8:10 to that Manchester. So much to squeeze in - a lunch in very cool Mackie Mayor and then off to meet Gareth whose hands we place ourselves in for the next three hours as we’ve signed up to a walking tour. Progressive politics aplenty - from Peterloo to Marx & Engels right through to Andy Burnham. With gay politics and the IRA & Arena bombings thrown in too. Afterwards we stagger back to the Abel Heywood to check in and have a beer. Then out for some jerk chicken and onward to hear some Noo Orleans blues at Matt &. Phreds to round off the day.
