Early morning visitor

This fox spent some time in our garden before breakfast this morning, enjoying the early sunshine. He started off by sitting right beside the ‘pigeon patio’ underneath the twisted hazel tree, settling down in a space between the tiny stakes which were meant to deter the wildlife from trampling the flowers!

He then had a very long scratch all around his ear and yawned widely (showing his terrifyingly long fangs), before stretching leisurely and sauntering up the bank to find another spot underneath the ash tree, where he settled down to bask in the sunshine.
