street aperitif

our neighbour organizes every year at the end of June a street aperitif where all residents of our street are invited. This is sponsored by the city and the intention is that people get to know each other better, know who is who and have a nice old fashioned good time, talking, drinking and having snacks. It is an initiative against the idea that people have grown sour, are on their own, suspicious, even afraid.
