Tonight at Rochdale & District Camera Club we experimented with portrait lighting.
Studio flash with and without softboxes, learning about exposure and the flash/shutter speed fallacy, then continuous lighting with a rotolight.
It's great to learn while other people demonstrate options.
Tethering the camera a laptop and projector really helps too.
