Stand and Strip

We bought this stand chair yesterday and decided it was too dark. So, cover it with a throw, paint it, or strip it. I dug out the can of Paint Panther a chemical stripper. 

After a while I realised how much I disliked using this stuff. I find it sooooo messy, and I rarely see it behave as it should (according to what it says on the tin).

But at least I can see a difference between the treated area and the untreated. Some way to go, and I sense at least one more blip from this project (but it might be a while).
