A day in Bristol attending a Masterclass on Cybersecurity.

A room full of nerds, techs, geeks...

Actually a room full of people smart enough to do the best they can for your company to protect you from things you can't even comprehend, so maybe time to lose the derisory tags?

During the day our friends in the legal profession were outed as being the worst prepared by many delegates, but still retaining their air or superiority because, you know, they studied law.

We always bow to their qualifications, but IT is largely too new, too unregulated, and too complicated for people to understand it's  true value. 

Maybe that is starting to change, most of these nerds, these geeks, these techs actually run multi million pound businesses, and know their stuff.

I know more today than I did yesterday. Everyday is a school day.
