Major Incident Practice...

...at Ellesmere Port Council building this morning.  The building is due to be demolished so this will be its last service to the community. The scenario was lead by Cheshire Fire and Rescue and included Police, Ambulances, Utility companies, volunteer casualties and Chester Council. Plenty of people with clipboards and watches and lots of curious locals.
We had to imagine smoke billowing from the top of the building as they sprayed it with water. More pics in extras.

Very reassuring to know that all these agencies get opportunities to practice for emergencies. The whole thing must have taken some planning.
