Sally Mair - Loving life

Late blipping.
We've had a busy day, I had Cleo at the vet for her vaccines and health check which meant a sedative for her the night before so she'll let the vet near. At some point, about 5 years ago, someone did something out of my sight at a previous vets which traumatised her. She's now terrified as soon as we get to the vets, I hate giving her a sedative which had to be hidden in her food. All was well though and the vaccines safely administered, she seems unaffected today. When she was new I signed up for a Vac for life scheme for £100. It was so worthwhile and had saved us so much money over the years.
Bonnie also had her second lot of vaccines today so she and Ali came over for the afternoon. I can't believe she's three months old already.
This evening was our annual bridge Dinner which marked the end of this year's bridge season. I'll be able to watch the Monday quizzes on Monday now.
We have several golf club members in our number so usually go to the Royal Burgess for our dinner. As usual it was delicious and beautifully presented. This is my pannacotta dessert.
The evening finished with a shortened session of bridge with randomly selected partners. Very enjoyable but I didn't win an Easter egg!
I was given a lovely cashmere scarf as a thank you for running things, which was lovely but unnecessary

... And for those in the know it will make you laugh to learn I took 6 to get Wordle today! For those who don't do Wordle, it was my name!
