Le Jardin Majorelle

Walked to these gardens across Marrakesh while the rain held off. They were exceptional. Built in the 1950s and restored by Yves Saint Laurent and his partner in the 1980s they were a riot of colour and interest. Difficult to choose a blip from the many photos taken but I liked this pond reflection one most. It was K’s birthday today but sadly she felt more and more unwell as the morning wore on so she and N did Not make it to the YSL museum. The rain was quite heavy by the time we came out so R and I caught a taxi back to the hotel. Rained for the rest of the day so we just lazed in our room.
