Mum and Dad

MONDAY

It's forty years to the day since I lost my Dad. He was my hero and I will always miss him and he has been in my thoughts all day.

I went over to Wrexham today and spent most of it at Erddig (National Trust - see extra). After breakfast at the restaurant there, I spent a few hours walking around the gardens and grounds as well as having a look around the house.

Also some shopping in Wrexham and a stop of at St Giles' Parish Church to light a candle.

The photo of Mum and Dad would have been taken around 1950.
