feeling very rough today, cough and cold and general unpleasantness.

i am fortunate enough to live about 3/4 mile from a preserved steam railway. for some people, many of whom crowd onto bridges over the line to stand on step ladders with large lenses and day-glo jackets, living where i do would be a dream. hearing steam engines and seeing the clouds of smoke off in the distance.

today was the first time i've been down there with my camera in the 18 months we've lived here...
