A Trip over the Lake

I crossed the lake over to Evian in France this morning. The weather was lovely and the planted beds of flowers were a joy to see along the lake front.
I went to visit Jean who doesn't get around like he used to. I did some food shopping and then some cooking that will last for a couple of days. There are ladies that come in almost every day now as part of a home help service and that's very reassuring.

I'm quite tired tonight as it's all a bit of a trek. 

I'll check out others' photos tomorrow after a good night's sleep!

Jean and I are in touch daily by phone.  I'll probably go over again for the day over Easter.
