#2 daughter and Sandy

#2 daughter brought Sandy for a walk as previously planned but it was SO wet. We decided just to walk on the road rather than slither up muddy tracks so we went to Pondicherry. Our friends own this field and Tom and his son put in their Stonehenge using stones they’d unearthed while working with their digger. There is a sign saying “private land, no trespassing” but I didn’t think they’d mind us going in. Mr C stayed on the road - he likes to adhere to rules and such like. Me not so much.

We all got thoroughly soaked during the 2.5 miles so welcomed some fridge slurry soup when we got back. It was great to catch up with daughter. All is well with them.

The wound on my chest is still sore but I slept better last night. I’m carrying on with the knitting and should soon have the back finished.
