First Day on the Job

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Today was Caro's first day at the funeral home! She didn't sleep at all well* and this was partly due to her first ever commute. 

All the same, I woke her up at 7am with a coffee and she left the house at 8:30am in a very good mood, pausing to let me take this picture of her first. 

I think she looks very glamorous in her new work garb. 

She ended up working 5 hours today to make up her 20 hours for the week, because Easter. She arrived home after 2pm, full of work stories which

have been censored. Dammit. 

But she enjoyed herself. She got to play with Alfie the funeral home doggie, and generally made herself useful. 

So a very positive day 1. I hope this is just the start of something amazing.

* She fell asleep on the couch at about 4:30 for two hours after she got home.
