Here Hare Here

A couple of hours in the allotment - I have to say it's looking more or less like it should. It helps that I can tolerate a few weeds if they look nice. Ate two strawberries and three sugar snap peas, but there's plenty more to come.

In the afternoon I took off to Coldingham and stayed over there. The afternoon turned out quite wildlife, with numerous birds of all colours (mostly white and brown, but for the Bullfinch. you can tell I'm an expert), and also 3 hares right in front of my eyes. They are fast , though (of course), and I was lucky to catch him.

Great walk, all looking summery. The only downside was Battenberg cake. I think I have satisfied that craving for another few years.
