I saw the glow and took this through the window, knowing that the forecast for the rest of the day was grey and wet. By the time I got up properly a bit later the forecast had indeed come to pass.

I'll be singing and compering with the care home choir this afternoon. Our leader wants all the comperes to sprinkle lots of jokes into the introductions which really isn't my forte, but I've found a few online which might work. I'm remembering the lady at one of our Christmas concerts who said "this is AWFUL" while I was announcing. Never mind!
