Crazy normal

The taxi to take Robin to Gatwick arrived at 06.45 by which time it was already sunny.  Saw bro briefly when he called to collect his Vespa for a scooter run with mates, and again when he returned,  but other than that and post guest visit driven house work and laundry, today was mostly quite a lot of dog walking.  Rufus and I enjoyed nearly three hours out and about including by the canal (extra) which I've Blipped several times so have chosen these cheeky looking magnolia (?) buds peeking out behind a boundary wall and reaching for the sky in the sunshine.

Weather wise it was one of those days where the sky to the right was bright blue with cotton ball clouds while the sky to the left was indigo with streaks of purple clouds. Made very interesting light and a day where, if you were in the sun and out of the wind it was really very warm, but out of the sun and in the wind was, well, the opposite. Crazy weather to choose a jacket for dog walking, that's for sure! 

Robin got back to Azerbaijan safely, and I had a solo evening of TV and embroidery. Back to normal then.
