Swing

It’s not often that I see one of the Leeds-Liverpool canal swing bridges in use, so this scene at Gawflat Swing Bridge, Skipton selected itself for today’s blip.

16yo and I headed up for our day out and did our customary Skipton things. We checked out the new, larger premises of the Oxfam bookshop and I got lucky with volumes 11-15 of Dana Stabenow’s Alaska set Kat Shugak series to go with volumes 1-10 which are already on my shelves. 

Nice to be out and about in sunshine.
