Family day

Henry was up bright and early at 5am but Neil took him from 7.30 while I went back to bed for a couple of hours.

We went to the old railway in the village so Henry could watch the trains - lots of "wow" and "poop poop!" - we've been reading a lot of Thomas the tank engine recently. After that we went for lunch in Quorn and Henry managed to sit at the table nicely with no DVD player or iPad for the first time ever, and had a reasonable amount of sausage and mash!

We went to play in the park afterwards which he loved - it was only us in there and was lovely and sunny. Then we had a quick trip to Costco on the way home for nappy cream and toothpaste before heading into the garden - Henry is already much better than me at dribbling a ball and kicking it to people!
