Blue Skies Sunday

A beautiful day, mostly sunny, chilly but warm in the sunshine.  Clouded over this evening.  Breezy to calm.  

Up early, headed to work in the airport, late shift.  A mix of check-in desk and meeting and boarding flights.  Still no ferries running, so we've had a busy day.  All flights on time, mam and dad arrived back early from Glasgow.  Walkies with Sammy, now feet up by the fire. 

My phone started buzzing early about strong aurora readings, but with the sun shining high in the sky, pretty pointless even trying to spot them.  The readings continued as darkness grew, but so did the cloud cover, typical.  I've kept an eye out, still cloudy.  Never mind, we've had a lovely day, much needed after the recent gales.  A quick snap on my way to work, Sinclair Road, Cunningsburgh.
