One Small Step for Dogkind

Bertie has been struggling to get onto the sofa for a few months. He stands in front of it and scratches at it until someone lifts him up so D has made him a step to help him. He’s not really sure about it at the moment and needs a bit of guidance but gets a big cheer and round of applause if he manages it.
D and I had a good walk this morning. He’s cooking roast beef at the moment as it’s our first Sunday since Poppy got back and we’re having a belated Mother’sDay meal together. Alf has given me a lovely rosemary plant in a pot and Pops gave me earrings and chocolate.
