Spring drilling Barley

The combination of sun and wind over the weekend has enabled this farmer to start drilling the next crop, Spring Barley. This is in the Chilterns where the soil is shallow and chalky.The implement is a combined cultivator, seed drill and fertilizer applicator. See extra for tractor enthusiasts.
