Museum of Power

Last weekend we had tickets for the spring bulbs at Hedingham Castle but it was so rainy we didn’t go and rebooked for this Sunday, or so I thought til I glanced at the tickets as we were heading out the door to go …and realised they were for 21st and not today.

As we had our coats in ready to go we googled for other attractions and found ourselves at the Museum of Power. It didn’t take long but it got us out and about I guess! This steam pump was one of three that used to pump water to Southend. It would be more fun if it was running.
