Pass It On.

A full house last night and changeover today meant we were up to our eyes in work. As is often the case, there was something going on in town that we were going to miss. We did manage a few moments though to pop out and see what was happening at the first Keswick Midsummer Festival. It was very busy with lots of people enjoying the fair and stalls. In front of the main stage were a group of locals and visitors enjoying a bit of line dancing. This photo sums up what these events are all about. They're about people of different generations getting together and sharing a good time. It's lovely to see these ladies showing the young ones how it's done. You can see the joy in the little girl's face. I wonder if the ladies remember being shown all the dance moves when they were kids.
