What a view!

My first big walk of the few days in The Lakes. We walked from our apartment in Keswick over Walla Crag, down to Ashness Bridge (see extra), and then back to Keswick via the edge of Derwentwater.

A bit showery with glimpses of sunshine..

The photo of the water below Ashness bridge was taken hand held using the in-built ND filter in the OM-1. I'm quite impressed with this feature as I don't really want to carry extra gear like a tripod when we're walking. And it's nice to be able to take flowing water in this way while we're out.

We met Debbie and John Gravett for a meal this evening to catch up.
