Not very silly
I thought the light was nice and it was this or a picture of a robin and I’m sure I’ll do plenty of those.
As part of the Becoming Ourselves exhibit (becomingourselves.org) the church held a workshop on how to be a good ally. It was done really well. People got ideas on what they could do, why it was important, and permission to not be stupid. Someone arguing because they want to learn is different from someone saying hateful things because they want to argue and there is no point wasting your time with the latter, let it go. If you think you want to intervene in something, consider your safety and the safety of whoever you are thinking you are intervening for.
The other church not so far away that expressed interest in hosting the show has a board vote and decided that they would but expressed concerns about the holes in the wall and want me to spackle them all afterwards. Unlike the current church they don’t have a hanging system. 26 pictures. 52 holes. I feel like someone is not going to be happy, someone in the church is going to have long term resentment whenever they look at the walls. I don’t know if I’m being overly negative.
Another church in Baltimore has expressed interest in hosting the show in June.
