Saving the planet

Our daughter J is much more environmentally aware than I am.  Her latest project has been to order some Bees in the cocoon - 30 of them.  Her plan is, she has repurposed a bird box - that a squirrel broke into and ate the eggs.  These are Mason bees that are very important for pollination.  They are still in the packaging they arrived in by mail.  They will eventually live in the bird box when it is repositioned.  J hopes that the bees will pollinate the flowers on the Plum hedge that was last Sunday's blip.
I can't remember why she is protecting the bee cocoons with wire - maybe against birds or squirrels.  I think they were quite expensive.
