St Swithun-upon-Kingsgate Church

One of my colleagues was due to be in Winchester this weekend. His son is here for a swimming competition. He’d never been to Winchester before so I’d arranged to give him a guided tour.

This is the window in St Swithun-upon-Kingsgate Church. It’s an unusual church as it’s on the top of the medieval Kingsgate.

I’d spent some time preparing the information for the walk so I’ve learnt something too.
