Unprecedented

An early meeting with the Mozambique government essentially to lobby them to match the momentum of Tanzania on a shared activity we are trying to coordinate for the benefit of the transboundary landscape.

This week I’ve been fairly in control of my workload. For the third day in a row I left the office a few minutes after 5pm and managed a dip in the pool as the light faded. As I swam, mynah birds flew clunkily close to the surface whilst swifts dipped down much more gracefully. Leaving on time to do something relaxing for a few days on the trot is unprecedented in my career and I’m celebrating it.
