Squally Showers!

A wind you could hardly stand up in at times.

Torrential showers of rain, sleet and snow.

Spells of sunshine and blue skies.

But not rainbow?! I kept anticipating one but it never arrived!

All the same a great walk from Baildon to Ilkley with Matthew. A route which took you past Reva and Carr Bottom Reservoirs, over The Cow and Calf Rocks and alongside the Ilkley Tarn.

A day where a bobble hat was essential with the bitterly cold wind!

This was the view on the way to Baildon and you can see the moors, where we walked, are hiding in the rain clouds!

I'm now back at mine, cosy with the candles lit, watching Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, listening to the wind continuing to howl and the rain battering against the windows.

It's nail painting tomorrow night...I know, a Sunday night. Outrageous! ;-)
