Wave

The westerlies have been strong, 30 mph or more, for a couple of days, so the waves at Birsay were pretty big. Quite difficult to photograph anything between the wind and the spray. That's a cormorant in the shot. Birds included a pair of shelduck, lots of wigeon and oystercatcher, greylag geese, ringed plover, turnstones etc.
