Walking home after spending the evening in The Tiq with JacktheLad and George, a small but select crew. Good to see G looking a bit better although the reason for his months long cough seems to have mystified the medical profession and he still headed off early. The pub was full to the gunnels when we arrived (it seems to have become a student haunt, at least till this semester’s cash runs out) but not too noisy, with a merciful lack of drunken screamers!
Had a very successful visit from the engineer that came to install my smart meters - we agreed that I didn’t need them! Looks like my long running battle with the power company is set to run and run.
